“Look, he’s late again,” his classmates snicker as Daniel Hart calmly walks through the door as the lecture is beginning. “Wonder what it was this time. Probably had the wrong Iron Maiden shirt on or something.” Dan simply leans back in his chair, apologizes to his classmates, and grins lightly to himself; he knows the truth.

Dan had over five minutes to get to class that day, but Furenthal the Incinerator, and Lord of Red Dragons met Dan as he exited his dorm and told him that he needed to retrieve one of his stolen children from Remala, a dark sorceress hiding in the Amazon or the green world would burn. Daniel Hart promptly traveled to the Amazon, battled endless hordes of undead minions before finally locating and slaying the sorceress, retrieved the hatchling, brought it back to Furenthal the Incinerator atop his volcanic peak, and then slew Furenthal for such a threat.

Dan was only 12 minutes late for history class.
